We would like to cordially invite you to attend a public forum entitled “Cabinet reshuffle: Will the new Ministers be effective?” on 10th July 2014 (Thursday), 8.00pm to 10.30pm at The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH).
Public Forum: “Cabinet reshuffle: Will the new Ministers be effective?”
The recent cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak on June 25 turned out to be a “cabinet expansion”, with the addition of three Ministers and three Deputy Ministers to the 34-member cabinet, bringing the Malaysian Cabinet to its largest ever figure of 37.
Does size really matter? Are Malaysians more concerned about the performance and effectiveness of Ministers than the number of Ministers in the cabinet?
Research for Social Advancement (REFSA), together with Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) Socio-Economic Committee, in partnership with Malaysiakini, will co-organize a forum titled “Cabinet reshuffle: Will the new Ministers be effective?”. Details of the forum as follows:
